3 Red Flags Cancer Should Never Ignore, No Matter How Much They Love Someone

One of Cancer’s greatest strengths can also become a vulnerability in the wrong relationship: you naturally look beneath the surface.

When someone becomes distant, angry, careless, or emotionally unavailable, you may instinctively wonder what caused it.

Maybe they are stressed.

Maybe something happened in their childhood.

Maybe their previous relationship damaged their ability to trust.

Maybe work has become overwhelming.

Maybe they are afraid of being abandoned.

All of those explanations could be true.

But there is one question that matters just as much:

What are they doing about it?

An Explanation Is Not the Same as Accountability

Imagine that someone repeatedly does something that hurts you.

You finally bring it up.

Instead of acknowledging what happened, they immediately explain why they behaved that way.

They tell you about their stress.

They describe everything they have been going through.

They remind you how badly someone treated them in the past.

Before you realize what happened, the conversation has completely changed.

You entered the discussion because you were hurt.

You leave the discussion comforting them.

And the original problem never gets resolved.

That pattern deserves attention.

Compassion Should Not Erase Consequences
